Meet Our Pastor
Keith Cressman – Lead Pastor
Keith Cressman is married to Adrienne Cressman, a Business professor and department chair at Southwestern Christian University. Their older daughter lives in the DFW area where she served as a youth pastor and in now a broker with a large financial investment firm. Their younger daughter recently graduated Oral Roberts University and now serves in ministry in the Oklahoma City area.
Keith earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry degree from Southern Methodist University. Working for IBM as a systems engineer, he took leave to earn his Masters in Business Administration and Law degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Keith practiced law in Oklahoma City as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Western District of Oklahoma, Bankruptcy Court. Responding to the call to ministry, he returned to school to earn a Master in Divinity, magna cum laude, from Phillips Seminary and then a Doctor in Ministry in Leadership and Preaching from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Beginning in 1991, Keith served pastorates in Shawnee, Bartlesville, and Jenks before being appointed to St. Mark’s in June 2004. He also served in the US Air Force Chaplaincy Reserve for seven years.
Keith serves as Spiritual Director and on the Board of the Pioneer Country Walk to Emmaus. He has taken mission teams to Alaska, Missouri, Texas, Mexico as well as various mission efforts in Oklahoma. Keith served on the District Board of Ordained Ministry, District Superintendency Committee, Conference Board of Trustees (Secretary), Conference Rules Committee (Chair) and is a member of the Wesleyan Covenant Association. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Oral Roberts University and Southwestern Christian University. He has been a part of Leadership Jenks Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, and the President’s Advisory Board-Southwestern Christian University.
Besides loving Jesus and people, Keith is gifted as a teacher, administrator, and preacher.
